UK Satellites provide digital, FM and DAB aerial installations. The government has planned to cease analogue television signals with a target date from 2006 to 2012. After this time, television will only be available through a digital system such as Digital Terrestrial (What we know as Freeview), Satellite, Cable or Broadband TV. Existing communal systems will need to be replaced with IRS (Integrated Reception Systems) which will enable residents to access Digital Satellite, Digital TV, FM and Dab.

How it works

Freeview channels are all free without a subscription. Freeview is received via your terrestrial aerial together with a Freeview box or integrated Freeview digital TV. Here are some of the channels you can get

In order to ascertain as to whether your aerial is compatible for Freeview UK Satellites offer a free survey. If you do need to upgrade the aerial system, UK Satellites advise as to what is required and how much it will cost. The engineers carry a comprehensive range of digital aerials for Freeview which can either be affixed to existing fittings or we can install a full new aerial system with a new bracket and pole with a lashing kit or wall mounted bracket and new cable from the aerial to the TV.
